biography
Northern California native Kevin OBrien studied Comparative Literature (French & English) at the University of California at Santa Barbara before beginning his foray into photography in Paris. Under the premise of learning to speak French Kevin worked at Studio Astre where he met and went on to first assist Michael Thompson in New York City, where he now lives.
Kevins fashion and beauty photography has been featured in the pages of Elle, Flair, In Style, Details, Interview, Jane and A magazine. His advertising collaborations include Jurgen Oeltjenbruns, Cover Girl, Laura Mercier, Elizabeth Arden, John Freida, Ralph Lauren, Wenlan by Chia and J Crew.
